Hi

Can someone help me to resolve " Default boot device missing ....."error on my acer one 10 ; OS - Windows 10. I don't have recovery media.

I tried few basic troubleshooting steps like below but no success.
  1. Tried Alt + F10 but not working for Windows 10.
  2. Tried F2->F9(loaded default configuration)-> F10
Is there any previous thread on same issue that I can follow or someone can guide me to resolve. FYI, currently I have downloaded windows 10 ; 32 bit both in USB and ISO format and available.

Looking forward to resolve the issue.

Regards

    Create an install flash drive from the ISO then go into the BIOS again and make sure it's setup to allow booting from the USB drive (likely you'll need to enable the F12 boot menu and disable Secure Boot). Boot from that and select the Repair option and then navigate to the Command Prompt. Use diskpart to see what drives are attached and what partitions are on the drives. You should see the normal system disk and the USB disk. The system disk should have something like three or four partitions, one of which will be the 100MB EFI partition. Take a picture for us if you can't figure that out. What you will need to do is likely to be a rebuild of that EFI partition, if it's missing or corrupted you get that error.
