PC doesn't detect the monitor when connected only to 4k/60hz PC(DP) to Monitor(DP) on cold boot / restart and monitor goes to sleep. No matter what I do the PC never detects the monitor.

    @Samvik,
    If you have tested that the monitor and the DP cable work with another PC, then it is the DP problem.
    In the Device manager, can you see this Acer monitor?

    Your Veriton N4640G supports:
    Maximum resolution
    • HDMI: 2560 x 1600 @ 60 Hz
    • Display Port: 4096 x 2304 @ 60 Hz
    • D-Sub (VGA Port): 1920 x 1200 @ 60Hz
    So you should be able to get 4K@60Hz from the Display Port. What version cable are you using? The earlier cables may not support that speed.

    The cable is  not an issue. I have old 2017 veriton 4640 with intel 530 and it shows 4k / 60hz on same monitor thru same cable without any issues.
    There must be some issue with bios / motherboard on the new 2019 veriton 4640g to detect displayport at 4k / 60hz at boot. I already returned one last week and got another and both has same problem.
