Hey there, I have an Acer Nitro AN515-51 and I'm thinking about buying a SSD Corsair Force MP600 M.2 PCIe + NVMe but I ain't sure if that SSD will work correctly. Will it work? Is it good?

    Hi,
I doubt that it will work in your laptop, your laptop motherboard is capable of PCIe 3.0 but this drive is the newer version of PCIe 4.0, I would suggest you buy a Samsung 970 Evo and install.

Hm so any PCIe 3.0 SSD will work in this laptop. Would you suggest the Corsair MP510 instead of the Samsung?

    Hi,
Yes, you can install any PCIe 3.0 SSD but I think Corsair SSDs are more suitable for Desktops and I haven't seen anyone using MP510 in Acer laptops, so I would suggest Samsung SSDs because it has been tested and reliable SSDs.

Your Nitro AN515051 takes a different type of keyed M.2 than the “Corsair Force MP600 M.2 PCIe + NVMe” plus the Corsair has a cooler (yes you can take that off) but it won’t fit into your Nitoro’s M.2 key.

The Corsair MP600 is a "M key edge connector" M.2 while the Nitro AN515-51 takes a "B&M type key edge connector" M.2 and a type “3D NAND M.2 Type 2280 SATA SSD”. These are two totally different types of M.2 SSD’s and different specs. See captions below of the difference between the two.
