Hi there, So I got the "No Bootable Device" message after 3 blue screens, first my laptop overheated and that's how the first blue screen appeared, then I went back home, plugged cooler, turned on game and was playing like usual, but then my screen froze and another blue screen happened, then I was like okay, this is not normal, I l looked up if the anti-cheat, which the games has, can make those, but it was most likely not the case, so I tried playing another game, and again it happened ( my laptop started freezing constantly before third blue screen), and then I pressed the power button and got the "preparing automatic repairs" message, then black screen, so I tried boot it up, and, after an acer logo, the "no bootable device" appeared. I tried many fixes online, looked in BIOS if there's a Hard Drive, there is, everything looks normal, just my laptop can't boot up Windows, and I got another question, can I boot it up with USB that has windows on it?

First of all what is your laptops model number? It’s a bit hard to advise you if you don’t give us all the details. Your "no bootable device" could be from the following reasons:

    • An incorrect boot order (which is not your case)
    • System partition is not set as active (check that later)
    • Internal hard disk is corrupted due to disk errors/bad sectors (check that later)
    • Computer's boot hard disk MBR sector is damaged <<<---DO THIS FIRST

Try the “Computer's boot hard disk MBR sector is damaged” and repair that first by doing this:

When the boot information including BCD or MBR is corrupted by virus attack, power outage or bad sectors, you may get an error "no bootable devices found". You can repair or rebuild such crucial information through Command Prompt commands. Also, you need to first enter Command Prompt window, then execute below commands in order.

    • Bootrec /fixmbr
    • Bootrec /fixboot
    • Bootrec /scanos
    • Bootrec /rebuildbcd

Then restart your computer to check if this fixes your problem.

BTW: get access to ”Command Prompt” through “Windows Installation USB, DVD by booting into the Installation Media and access the cmd prompt, if you have one? Ifyou don't, then make one from the Microsoft site “Create Windows 10 installation media” here: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10 and use Download tool now to do your USB or DVD, its a simple process but you need another computer, if you don't have another computer then see this guide "How to Fix No Bootable Device on Windows 10 Effectively" here from AOMEI as you can do it through their software.
