Hi all

I had recently bought an Acer Swift 3 SF314-41-R8SE (AMD Athlon 300U) - I upgraded the RAM from 4 GB to 8 GB

But now, the system allocates 2GB of RAM to the GPU and I am only able to use 6 GB of RAM. I don't need 2 GB of VRAM as this laptop is not used for gaming / any GPU intensive workloads.

How can I reduce the RAM allocated to the GPU? I looked everywhere in the BIOS, but I'm not able to find any setting to do so. My BIOS version is 1.04.

I have an APU desktop with a gigabyte motherboard and in the Gigabyte BIOS, it allows me to change the RAM allocated to the GPU - but I can't find any such option in the ACER BIOS.

Can anyone help me? Your help is greatly appreciated.

Thank You
