Tried asking support but they said they don't support BIOS which I thought was interesting.  Anyone have any ideas on this?  Appreciate the help.

What is your Predator model number? As you must be using the wrong BIOS update for your laptop. The BIOS v1.02 is the initial and first BIOS that your laptop came with, as I presume that your model is the PH315-52 and this laptops Acer BIOS updates start at v1.03 upwards and its impossible that you can’t update the BIOS to a newer version. Make sure that you don’t have any software running in the background, disable all anti-virus and malware, make sure that your battery is fully charged and never ever run a BIOS update on battery power only, always have the laptop on the mains power. Also, make sure that your BIOS is set to default settings before a BIOS update is done. Then update the BIOS to the last BIOS update v1.12 dated 2020/09/03 titled “Updates BIOS default setting”, click the BIOS_1.12.exe file and execute this BIOS update within windows, it’s a very simple update.
