Hello, my KG251Q does not have 240hz as an option when I go in to change it in the display settings, the highest one available is 120hz.
Im currently using a HDMI 2.0 which ive read supports 240hz.

Does someone know how to fix this or what the problem may be?

    Hi @Jonas127

You can try to connect the monitor with a display port cable for the high refresh rate support.

Hope it will help you in some way.

I was planning to do this next however now I just encounter a new problem with it showing ''no signal'' when try to switch over to DP, seems like this is a somewhat common issue as ive looked for several solutions but have not had any luck with it yet.

I have the same issue with the same monitor bought a mini displayport to display port cable (since I'm using a gaming laptop) and connect it to my monitor it just gave me black screen for 3-5 seconds and it reverts back to 120 hz. this is really frustrating!

    i am using a Omen X gaming laptop with a GTX 1080
