1.Will this laptop support 2666mhz ram

2.Does this have an extra slot installing a SSD. Or do I have to remove the old one make a backup and then reinstall it. I have 3 years extended warranty and it's it's only been1.75 years into it. Can you all do it for me.

3 I know its illegal on the forum to teach us how to lock video memory size for integrated vega graphics but can you tell me why it's bad for the system. Also I'm playing middle Earth shadow of war so it's graphics menu shows 1320/1024 mb. So I need more and I have less. It looks bad that's all(the game too

4. Lastly will changing my RAM from 8gb to 12 gb/16GB give me FPS GAINS? Specially in the context of higher resolution play but lower shadow use?

(1) Yes it will support DDR4 2400MHz or higher frequency

(2) Yes it has both an m.2 SSD connector and a 2.5" HDD/SSD connector. We are ACER users here, not customer or technical service employees, so we can't do it for you. You would have to pay someone to do it for you.

(3) The shared video RAM is automatically controlled by the system BIOS which is generally between 10-15% of total RAM

(4) You can have up to 32GB RAM with two 16GB DDR4 modules that should help video performance.

The RAM speed is limited by the mainboard bus speed which 1200MHz or 2400MHz for double data rate DDR4 modules. So you can use DDR4 3300MHz modules but they will automatically adjust to the 2400MHz bus speed. The source of the info is the specsheets for this model. Jack E/NJ
