There are a lot of notebooks i7-9750H based which you can run DDR4 3200 Mhz memory sticks.
Why Acer doesn't release an unlocked Advanced menu bios for PH315-52 which allows us to run 3200Mhz memory sticks?
Is the 1.12 release unlocked?

Hi,
The maximum frequency supported by the CPU is 2666MHz, so 3200 will downclock to 2666MHz.

Thank you for your comments.
You can check in this official intel document (https://www.intel.com.br/content/dam/www/public/us/en/documents/datasheets/xmp-memory-for-core-processors-datasheet-20190627.pdf) at the 17th row that there is a HP laptop certified board to run at 3200Mhz. And there are others laptops too.
Yes, that is possible once you configure it in the BIOS. The CPU supports that. Acer could do it if they were interested.
There is a member in this community that is using DDR4 3200Mhz in his PH315-52 after He unlocked the advanced menu in BIOS. But is is a complicated process for no expert users.
My point is stimulate Acer´s staff to release a BIOS with the advanced menu unlocked or already set up for 3200Mhz. So we can take advantage of this upgrade.1 -
Hi,
No problem, I don't know whether there will be a BIOS update with Advanced features enabled, so you may have to wait for any future updates.0
