I have a Acer aspire es1-572-32kp. It came with 4GB ram and 500GB hdd. I bought two crucial 8GB rams and put them in and it worked fine. I cloned the hdd to a Samsung 870 qvo 1TB using the Samsung data migration software. I tried turning the laptop on it didn’t. I put in the old ssd still didn’t turn on. So I thought maybe it ran out of battery. I plugged it in it turned on said it had 100% battery as soon as I plugged out the charger it turned off. It doesn’t turn on nor do the battery light or memory lights. It does turn on if plugged in but doesn’t work on battery. And when turned on still says I have 100% battery. What should I do?

Temporarily keep the old HDD in there for now. Near the HDD mainboard connector, there is a safety switch that cuts off battery power to the mainboard if the base HDD memory door cover is not properly aligned or tight enough to press the switch hard enough to keep it in the on position.
