I need to connect Binaural Mics to Acer Revo RL 80 with Intel HDA Audio hardware. The system has Ubuntu Linux lspci command reports
00:1b.0 Audio device: Intel Corporation 7 Series/C216 Chipset Family High Definition Audio Controller (rev 04)
The Audio input selector software lists a stereo Mic Input (whereas on my USB headset it reports mono) .

My question however has more to do with the Pin-out of the stereo audio connector. Is it TRRS 4 conductor (with power?) or TRS 3 conductor (with no power?)
