Nitro AN515-51 running incredibly slow

Hi there! Looking for some help as I've scoured the forums quite a bit -but perhaps I missed something? I'm still having issues with the one laptop.

I purchased an two Nitro AN515-51's about a year ago. One has always worked perfectly fine while the other is incredibly slow and takes a long time to load up, let alone load anything.

What I tried to do already: I tried upgrading the ram (from 8 to 16), upgrading the bios and reset PC. None of these worked to resolve the issue, as the laptop is still slow.

Here are the specs:

System Model: Nitro AN515-51

Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-7700HQ CPU @ 2.80GHz (8 CPUs)

Installed Memory: 16GB RAM

System type: 64-bit Operating System

Please let me know if there's any other information needed. Any help would be amazing, thank you!

Hi,
Do you have the Operating system in the HDD? If so, install a 256GB or 512GB M.2 NVMe SSD, transfer the OS to it and use HDD as your storage device.

To clarify, would this mean that I would be adding a (for example) 512 M.2 NVMe SSD to the laptop, while keeping the original HDD as well? And just tell the bios to run off the new SSD?
