Hi guys,
I am trying to connect M.2 ssd SanDisk 128Gb to my laptop Aspire E5-572G via m.2 to sata and sata to pci caddy. And i put it in cd-rom slot. But the pc do not  recognize it in any way. I also tried to connect it instead of main HDD using m.2 to Sata. I don't know why the laptop is not recognizing the ssd. Can someone give some advise and help me with this issue?
I also updated BIOS, it didn't help. SSD is new and working fine in desktop PC either if i connect it to m.2 slot or sata.
Thanks

Sorry. Internal 2.5" HDD/laptopODD-to-m.2 SATA adapters are NOT recommended. USB-to-m.2 SATA cable adapters are OK. An internal 2.5" SSD is much more reliable and cheaper in either an ODD caddy or to replace the 2.5" HDD. Jack E/NJ
