ACER Swift 3 laptop built in microphone not working. Tried all. Anyone managed to solve this issue. Anyone knows of a place in Singapore where this can be repaired on the spot even if it is paying money from my pocket, as ACER claims "COVID" and says cannot repair for 14 working days.

    Hi @DSHIR

Right-click the speaker icon in the bottom-right part of your screen, then select Sounds. Click the Recording tab. Try speaking into your microphone to test if it's working properly. If it is, you should see a green bar rising next to it while you talk.

Right-click the speaker icon and select "Open Sound Settings." 3. Scroll down to "Input." Windows will show you which microphone is currently your default — in other words, which one it's using right now — and a blue bar showing your volume levels.

Hope it will help you in some way.

Thanks. Tried all of it.  First case the green bar is permanently full. no movement.
The second case - even did the diagnostic service/troubleshooter on the current microphone, but troubleshooter finds no issue.
