I tried to open the webcam in a google meet, and suddenly realised that it's not working. The green light just blinked once and then went off.
I then tried to open the "Camera" app in my windows 10 machine, it's still not working. It's saying "Allow this app to use your camera and microphone". I checked the settings and it is allowed. Even then it's not working.
I then opened the device manager, under Cameras, there is HD WebCam which does not have any yellow exclamation mark attached. In the properties it is written that "This device is working properly."

Please help me with this issue.

If you have another app that is connected to the cam you will get that error. Try a restart and then try only one app at a time.

@billsey -- Thanks for your comment. But see below, I have only activated the Camera app and still it is not working.
I contacted Acer customer support. As expected they wanted me to RESET everything.

But I was wondering if there is any way to do this without resetting.

Yeah, selecting OK at that point should allow the app proper permissions to show the camera. Any chance you have Zoom or Skype or Teams grabbing it automatically at login? You can always do a backup and then a reset as suggested, but it'd be nicer to diagnose the issue first.
