A315-23-R98D absurdly high fan speed on BIOS/Boot Menu

I bought this laptop off of Amazon, and it came in last Tuesday. Ever since the first boot, it consistently exhibits high fan speed while on the BIOS or Boot Menu. The problem seems to be attenuated while on the EFI shell. During the installation of Windows 10 and on Windows itself, the issue was gone, so that makes me think that it might as well be faulty handling of the ACPI on the firmware's behalf.
It isn't that bad of a problem since it only occurs in the BIOS phase, but still, it makes me worry about the hardware, and would prefer it to be gone.

BIOS version is InsydeH20 1.08 (rev5), which, as far as I can tell, is the same as the one listed under BIOS/Firmware download.

Faulty? It's usually done on purpose to overcome shaft stiction which can occur if not enough power is applied to the stopped motor on startup. After the operating system takes over, power is reduced to the already spinning fan less likely to get stuck. Vaguely analogous to inertia. Jack E/NJ

I see what you mean, and I've certainly experienced it on some laptops. However, from my limited experience, fans usually make a small audible burst and then throttle down back to barely audible, regular speed.

On this particular one, that's not the case at all: fans start quiet, and as soon as I land on the BIOS, they gradually start gaining speed and, after some seconds, it gets to the point where they sound like a turbine, and the thing looks like it is preparing for liftoff (maybe that's a bit of a stretch, but it is a remarkably loud noise ). I should also mention that the maximum speed (and noise) reached varies across boots; nevertheless, I'd say it's always higher than it should.

If this behavior is intended, then I guess that's that, but otherwise, I would like to get it fixed somehow.
