Helios 300 2019 PH315-52-78VL (1660ti 16GB I7-9th Amazon Configuration) Black Screen
Was watching a movie and screen died. the laptop is still working i can see the keyboard light up and the audio system respond and fans also work its just the screen completely black. things i have tried; restarting the pc (would hear the predator sound on boot) but the screen is pitch black its like there is a power cut between the laptop and its lid since the predator logo on the back also doesn't power on. tried powerdraining the battery still the same. connected to external display and only see display after bios so obviously the 1660ti works just fine tried to reset the Intel UHD graphics still nothing changed. disconnected and reconnected the internal battery connector and nothing changed. I live in iraq and acer have an authorized service provider in Baghdad do you think they can give me a paid repair service? the warranty is expired.
