Hello everyone
So I have another inquiry regarding my laptop. The problem just occurred today. So I left my laptop (Nitro AN515-51) on idle when it suddenly drop from 79% to, presumably, 0% since the laptop just turned off. So I plugged the power back, but I noticed that now the estimation got all messed up, and the percentage of remaining battery drop within the matter of seconds, going from ex. 68 to 62% within 5 seconds. So I tried to uninstall the driver of both the adapter and ACPI Compliant, in which make the percentage not dropping within seconds, but it still drop faster than what it normally would. Within minutes the remaining battery power will go down. I also tried powercfg /batteryreport command and still noticed the disparity between the displayed percentage on the screen compared to the report (10:28 in report said 80%, while the on-screen shows 72%). I posted the screenshot below for better clarification on the matter. As side note, I always put the battery status as Balanced without power, and High Performance when the power is plugged in.
Any thoughts on what may cause this issue, and how to fix it? Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thank you.
