My aspire E15 laptop doesn't show the low battery notification

After the windows 10, 2004 update this notification is not shown and the battery %indication is also incorrect. What should i do? Laptop automatically goes into locked mode.

Yes, you need a new battery because of the wear level, it's nearly 70%.

Hi,
Go to Advanced settings in Power options and check whether low battery notification is turned on.

I checked this as well.. But bo change.. And the lap is shutting down immediately after 45min of full charge0

If you find a battery reset pinhole at the base cover with a battery icon, do a battery reset, switch off the laptop, disconnect from mains, use a paper clip to insert in the pinhole and press for 20 seconds, leave the laptop to rest for 15-20Mins, reconnect AC adapter and fully charge the battery before start using.

I'm sorry, I can not think of anything else but you could try this before sending it to Acer support for a service, go to Device manager, expand Batteries, right click Microsoft ACPI-compliant control method battery, click Properties, go to Driver tab and uninstall the driver, reboot and let Windows install the driver.

I tried everything.. Now again inserted a pin in the battery pinhole0

When the power reached 50 after full charge it automatically showed locking.. The power drained from 100-50very fast... Wht could be the reason.. Is it due to battery failure.. Or any bug in update0

Could you please post the model name of your laptop, download and install HW monitor, run it and post the snip of Battery section.

immediately within minutes it drained below 10%. now i kept on charging. i tried communicating with acer helpline they are not attending

Could you please post the age of your laptop, you could also try a battery calibration manuaaly,the method is in this link below, please read the Battery manual calibration section and follow the instruction, it may give an accurate readings.
