only using integrated graphics (acer aspire 5 a515-51g)

(acer aspire 5 a515-51g) So i just found out that i'm only using my integrated graphics and tried to change that. In the nvidia control panel i put all my settings to my nvidia graphics card (high preformance nvidia processor) and nothing happened (not shown on task manager). When i disable the integrated graphics card everything gets bigger (like the task bar uses two rows instead of one all my icons on my pc get bigger) and if i then try to open the nvidia control panel it sais that my graphics card is not connected to a display or something like that. What do i do now?

Try right clicking on a blank space in the desktop with the integrated adapter disable. Change the resolution from there instead of nvidia cp to see what happens. Jack E/NJ
