In my laptop Acer Nitro 5, when connected to battery, the MOSFET keeps on blowing up. I have sent it to the service centre for a month, but they haven't been able to figure out problem. Can someone please help me with this?
P.S. my laptop isn't in warranty.

My laptop Acer Nitro 5, suddenly became dead. A few days before dying, the laptop screen just used to freeze. (Keyboard used to work though, having a backlit keyboard I could check that) But then the laptop went completely dead. I sent it to the service center, and they are telling me that the MOSFET keeps on blowing up. They said, whenever the put in a new one and turn on the laptop, it works. But when they shut it down and restart it, the MOSFET gets blown.
They have no idea of the problem and are asking me to pay for display cable, keyboard, and battery so that they can figure out the problem. Please help me.

JayeshBhaware im sorry youre having issues with your nitro 5 well seems to me its a mobo short circuit issue issue they should replace the mobo instead as thats what they usually do when it comes to hardware issues they dont even try to repair it (i have never seen acer neither any other manufacturer trying to repair mobo components at all) its not worth the time spent on it also this community its not an acer support direct channel neither we are acer employees were just normal users like yourself here voluntarily on our own free time to help the best way we can/know and since youre already sent it to the service center you should keep escalating the situation with them until they fix it unfortunately theres nothing anyone here can do good luck :)

    Hi JayeshBhaware,

I am very sorry to hear this, unfortunately, the Acer Community is not a direct portal to Customer service, the Acer Forum Discussions were designed as a peer to peer support community where Acer users help other Acer users. Many Acer employees (Moderators), read the various topics posted here and you will notice that some Acer employees interact with members when appropriate, primarily we want the community to be a place where members can exchange their own advice and ideas.

I recommend you to contact your local support channels and ask for assistance with escalating the case.

Note: This thread will be now closed.

    Thanks,
