I have an "Acer Aspire ES1-533-C7F9" with a broken display (1366x768).
I would like to replace it with a Full-HD display.
Is that possible?

Current Display: NT156WHM-N42
EDP Cable: B5W1S_EDP_CABLE DC02002F300 Rev: 1.0 HLN (G1)

Thank you,

Zangetsu

    Hi,
You can upgrade to a FHD panel and the compatible recommended panel is HB156FH1-301, this is a TN panel and this will definitely work, if you are interested in FHD IPS panels, you could try one of the other panels I have compared but at your own risk because I couldn't find anyone else using these panels in your model.

    I'll try the NV156FHM-N42 panel.
I just ordered it and will hopefully be able to install it at the weekend.
    I will definitely give feedback.

    Many thanks.

    Update:

The panel arrived yesterday. But it wasn't what I ordered.
Instead of "NV156FHM-N42" the "Matryca LM156LF6L01" was delivered.
So I looked on the item description. It says "Compatible product line: NV156FHM-N42"

But well, I connected it anyway.
After switching ist on for the first time, the display remained black.
At first I thought it’s not compatible, but after about half a minute (maybe more),
the Acer Logo showed up. It worked! It's seems, at the first start it needs to initialize the new display.
No pixel errors, colors and black level look very good in my opinion.
Only the brightness could be better, probably 220 cd/m2.
    I'm satisfied with that. :)

    Thank you for your help.
