Does the Acer GX-785-UR16 support XMP 2.0?
Example: I bought two 16gb Memory sticks of G.Skill PC4-19200 memory designed for Z170 motherboards. Obviously in retrospect I would have bought a native memory stick but none matched the part numbers on the RAM stick I have.
When I placed into the PC I found that they run at 2133 and not 2400mhz. It's past the RMA unfortunately.
I opened the BIOS a few times looking for XMP profiles and found nothing. In CPU-Z it says the RAM runs under XMP2.0.
Only thing I can think of is that the seller must have misrepresented the product for a quick sale but said it was compatible.
Is there a way, if not completely unorthodox, to get the RAM to run at 2400mhz?
