windows10 laptop (acer aspire 5742g) shuts down randomaly without any warning or anything else

Hi,

my laptop (acer aspire 5742g) shuts down randomaly by its own without any warning or any notice or anything else, (In other words, I have to turn the laptop on again). the fan is working and laptop isn't hot at all and I even replaced the thermal paste (by mx-4). I also cleaned the fan and internal cooling system. also checked drivers updates (by driver talent). also checked device manager. also troubleshoot power. also unchecked (turn on fast startup). but the issue was not resolved. its noteworthy my laptop working without the battery (its means I taked the battery off becsuse thats broken) so the laptop working directly by charger but I dont think these are the problem because it has not been problem before.

What is your Win-10 version and OS build? As there could be either power issues since you haven’t got a battery in your Aspire 5742G and that could be an issue? Give us the exact specs of your Aspire 5742G also as it could be a number of things that could go wrong with such an old laptop e.g. power supply/charger, ram, cpu, gpu etc first get a new charger and battery for your Aspire 5742G and see if that fixes your issue? 

There needs to be a compete diagnoses of your laptop and also a compete upgrade of your old Aspire 5742G's as components could be oldand failling example, an upgrade of your cpu and ram could considerably improve your laptop e.g. from its 6100 cpu to let’s say an i7-620M or even an i7-640M cpu and its ram to a max of 8GB at 2x 4GB DDR3L-1600 SODIMM and an SSD 2.5" SATA 2 - 3Gb/s will improve your laptop considerably as there are allot of things that you can do to this laptop to improve it and why its going wrong for a minimal cost in comparison to buying a new laptop.
