latency doubt on acer swift3

HI
I have an acer swift 3 sf314 41 model and what i wanted to know is there any problem in adding a ram module which has a cas latency lower than my laptop?Will there be any problem? Or is it good for the laptop?

    i would prefer that you buy same ram stick as your laptop have if that not possible then try to find ram with same cas latency. because as far as i know bios doesn't allow you to change ram cas timing in laptop

    Of course there will we Fps drop, slower your system, bluescreen etc

    I do NOT recommend using two ram sticks of different sizes. Waste of money
    If you want best ram performance then make sure 
    1)Both ram sticks to be of equal size
    2) Both ram sticks to be of equal voltage
    3) Both ram sticks to be of equal CL (cas latency)
    4) Equal mhz and equal DDR(Eg-ddr3,4) ram sticks

    so i should be using a ram stick of 4gb instead of an 8gb stick and with 2400mhz. i don't know the latency of my laptop or the voltage, please advice a way to look into these.
