My System Specifications-
OS: Windows 10 Home
Processor: Intel i5 gen 8
Laptop version: Predator Helios 300
Intel(R) UHD graphics 630

Using Hitfilm Express a pop-up shows GPU driver out of date. The current installed driver released year is 2018, there are plenty of updates available.

The question is should I update my driver ? Which one will be best compatible with my laptop ?

Hitfilm Express can be run in integrated gpu as well as dedicated gpu.

Better if you run this app in dedicated gpu(dedicated gpu is for gaming, for better video editing experience/performance use Dgpu)

Go to Offical nvidia driver site→ select your dedicated gpu details then download and install game ready driver(nvidia software)

After installation restart your then follow these steps→

Allow that app/game to run in selected GPU

    Step One

Open the Nvidia Control Panel. You can do this by right-clicking on the desktop or you can find the option within the notification area of the Taskbar.

How to set a default graphics card

    Step Two

Select Manage 3D Settings under 3D Settings.

How to set a default graphics card

    Step Three

Click on the Program Settings tab and select the program you want to choose a graphics card for from the drop down list.

(Or you can also add that program .exe file)

How to set a default graphics card

    Step Four

Now select the 'preferred graphics processor' in the drop down list (you can see what the automatic option is listed as global setting). If you want to use the dedicated graphics card, select High-performance Nvidia processor.

How to set a default graphics card

Note→ All applications will run in dedicated gpu after following below steps(only do if your system not using Dgpu or above spoiler not work)
    1.Right Click on your desktop
    2. Click NVIDIA Control Panel

    3. Click Manage 3D Settings on the left menu
    4. Click the drop down menu for Preferred graphics processor under the Global Settings tab
    5. Select High-performance NVIDIA processor from the list

    6. Click Apply to save your changes

Btw, To update intel gpu open device manager→expand display adapters→right click on intel gpu→update device→automatically get updated.......
