I am currently looking to upgrade my psu, but i am.having trouble removing the PSU metal cover. Probably easy but am having trouble i hope someone can help

Can you be a little more specific as to which cover is giving you issues? Maybe a picture of the whole side of the machine with the cover highlighted?

What PSU is avalable to upgrade to for this pc?

The PO5-600s models support the old style ATX power supplies that have the 24 pin connector. So you can replace it pretty easily with most any size.
