Hello

I bought new RAM modules HX424S14IBK2/32 https://www.kingston.com/dataSheets/HX424S14IBK2_32.pdf
And now I have a problem with one of free slots
When I plugin in modules in both slots or in marked one, system doesn't starts.
I get black screen and even bios doesn't load

Both modules are working cause system starts up when they plugged in another free slot

Is it incompatibility problem or slot just broken?
Can I check it myself?
Maybe I need replace legacy modules with a new pair of the same model? And it will have 64gb ( 4 x 16)

КрэйзиКот if both are working in the same slot try both individually in the other slot if they work fine individually on both slots yes they are incompatible in some way personally i would test all slots individually to troubleshoot everything properly and i always suggest to forget the stock ram and get a proper ready dual channel set either hyperx or vengeance (as you already have it should work fine i)n case only one slot is working even tested individually so yest its a hardware issue a faulty slot and yes the max supported ram for your model its 64gb 4x 16gb but 2400 mhz only  7th gen cpus and amd only support 2400 max only 8 and 9th gen support 2666 and 10th gen 2933 but i suggest if youre planning to get 64gb in dual channel (i dont see the need to neither you would benefit anything from it 32gb its already too much and more than enough) get all from the same brand/model to make a perfect match good luck

PS: bare in mind when installing new ram the laptop will boot into black screen a few multiple times and reboot itself while the bios auto sets the correct timings for the new ram sodimms so its normal to boot in black screen for up to 5/7+ minutes in some cases then goes back to normal

This advice helped. I plugged in both modules, powered on and left it for some time (about 15-20 min, while cooking)
When I came still was black screen. After reboot it worked
    Thank you
