Hi,
i have acer aspire 315-41 R45R i have faced with some video tdr failure with error code atikmpag.sys .....i upgraded my ram to 8gb and my laptop is only 8 months old........
  Things I've tried:
Updating drivers
Uninstalling graphics card completely
Reinstalling drivers in safe mode
Turned link state power management settings to "off"
Added tdr delay setting to registry with a value of 8
Updated BIOS

Nothing has worked.  Neither the shop I bought from nor Acer can suggest anything else other than to exchange.  I really like the laptop and don't want to have to swap it but I have to say I'm not impressed with my experience so far and will have to take it back if I can't get this resolved.

Anyone else having the same issue?
