GAMING6698 thank you for replying. What i meant was how can i make it faster in terms of processing speed. Its response time is slow AF, lol. I am not sure if i should look at installing a SSD, but i am not sure if this laptop is suitable for such an upgrade, so i was hoping for guidance on that :-)

What are the exact specs of your Aspire E5-471P, has it got an Intel i3 or does it come with 4GB or 8GB removable OEM RAM etc as the Aspire E5-471P can take a max capacity of 16GB RAM of DDR3L-1600 SODIMM, best is to put a kit of 2x 8GB DDR3L-1600 SODIMM RAM so you can get ”Dual Channel” RAM. With the SSD, you can upgrade its 2.5” spinner HDD to a 2.5” type SATA 3 - 6Gb/s SSD. Also, upgrade your Win-8.1 (if you are running 8.1?) to the latest Win-10 as you can probably still upgrade for free to Win-10 Pro from your 8.1 with the same key, as long as you have a Microsoft Account? As all these updates/upgrades will considerably make your laptop more responsive and quicken your Aspire E5-471P laptop by a considerable margin to your investment and what you have now.
