Hi guys!

So my laptop does not have any SSD installed and I wanted to know what brands or specs of SSD M.2 I can buy to upgrade my laptop.
Just want to make sure first that it is compatible.

    KonanD anything up to 2tb either sata or nvme should work fine i personally recommend wdblue and normal sata its enough for gaming etc (in fact even normal hdd its just fine for gaming 99% of the games) you only need nvme if you do contend creation/rendering or moving large files etc anyway its up to you to decide good luck :)

    This is your storage subsystem with the recommended/tested sizes these are manufacturer tested not the real total support sizes

    GPU: Nvidia GTX 1050-Ti (Mobile) - 41.9%
    SSD: WDC WDS200T2B0B-00YS70 2TB - 71.4%

    Wow thank you so much for the help! That helped me narrow down the choices :)
    I think I would go for the M.2 PCIe NVMe SSD one. However, I do not know what the "PCIe x4 Gen 3 for SSD" means...pardon me for I am just a newbie in this kind of stuffs  :'( if it would help, I have a photo of the SSD slot on my laptop:

    I think the one boxed in red is for the SSD M.2 NVMe PCIe? Would also like to ask what the slots boxed in yellow is for...

    KonanD hi and youre welcome and it means the m.2 storage 1 slot supports nvme and the other slot supports m.2 sata only :)

    Nvme = pcie x4 lanes
