Hi guys any idea on my acer aspire e14 e5-475g-50st laptop? When i turn it on it will display preparing automatic repair, after a few minutes it will just display a black screen with a mouse pointer. I tried rebooting it and press alt+f10 but it will just display please wait then the black screen with a mouse pointer again after a few minutes. I also tried using a windows 10 bootable usb drive but it will just display a blue screen with a mouse pointer. I can still access the bios settings. Is this software related or it is already on the hardware side?

    Hi @Mapue

In BIOS,  1.Navigate to the Main tab by using the arrow keys “→” or “←”.

    2. See if the D2D Recovery option is marked as “Enabled” or “Disabled”. If it is disabled, highlight the D2D Recovery option, press Enter and then select “Enabled”.

    D2D Recovery

    4. Press F10 to save and exit. When you see the Acer logo, hold Alt and tap F10.

    This will resolve your issue.

Before turning the machine on, press and hold the ALT key. Then while still holding the ALT key, turn the machine on and immediately start mashing the F10 key.  If still no recovery screen, then set and save a BIOS supervisor password. Then re-enter the BIOS with the password and disable secure boot. Then try the ALT+F10 cold boot method again. Jack E/NJ
