It is helpful to let the community know the following:

    What computer do you have?
What operating system is on the computer?

Do you have any error messages?

hi, I have an acer iconia tab a200, had it for about a year now, I tired to put an sd card in as the memory is so low (even though I have removed almost evrything) started to play up after that, i can't get online as it keeps telling me the browser has stopped, we have a strong signal though, today i switched it off and on, it seems to be working at the moment. Shall i take it to be serviced? Or try a factory reset, I'm not sure what system we use, don't know anything about computers or tablets, sorry I am a bit thick when it comes to to this stuff,  I'm not even sure how to save what I have onto another computer or pendrive, in case I do a factory reset, does that also mean I would loose all my passwords too?

This article on our knowledge base:

How do I reset the hardware and software to factory defaults on my Android tablet?

Resetting the tablet will return the system to it's factory default and require you to set the system up again.  This will remove all programs from the device.  Any apps that you have installed can be pulled down from the internet again.

I would recommend connecting the tablet to a PC to transfer any data you have saved on the tablet.

You will likely require the USB driver on our Drivers page for the PC to recognize the tablet.
