Serious Issues With Acer Aspire R15 2-in-1 Laptop
Hello all. I purchased an Acer Aspire R15 2-in-1 laptop (meaning that it doubles as a touch-screen tablet and laptop) in Fall of 2018. Within the first week, the laptop just completely shut down. I brought it back to the company I purchased it from, and they replaced it with a brand new one per their policy. After that, I have gone almost two years without any problems. All of a sudden a couple of weeks ago, my laptop was seriously lagging. It was taking several minutes to even log me in, and several more to even pop up any icons on my home screen. It would then take several minutes after that to pull up Chrome or Internet Explorer. It would also just randomly stop responding, and I would have to close out of everything and restart again. All of a sudden, the screen goes black and says "No Rebootable Device". We found several Acer helpful videos on Youtube, and followed all of them. We tried restarting the connection to the hard-drive and virtually all other applications to try and turn it back on. Things that seemed to help everyone else based on the comments did not work for me. I still have the original box and everything needed, but I am trying to decide what I even need to purchase to repair it. I genuinely love my laptop, and it has always been quick and efficient. I have all of my storage on a flash drive, so it's not like I've overloaded the hard drive of the laptop. Any advice?
