Can you add an additional drive to the Nitro N50-600 (DG.E0MEQ.010)?

I have gone with the thought of adding a decidated SSD game drive (possibly a WD Black SN750 1TB) to my Nitro Desktop PC to take the load off of the built-in HDD.
I am, however, unsure whether it's possible to add an extra internal drive, and whether it's for M.2 NVME or SATA, B-, M- or B&M-key, and so on and so forth.

I hope you can help clarify any of my doubts!

With regards.
T.J.

Hi your model comes with 2,5` 1TB SATA HDD, so you can install a M.2 NVMe SSD or a M.2 SATA SSD in the free M2 slot of the MB. The WD one should work withoit any issues.

Is this M.2 slot in addition to the Acer (C:) SSD and the 1TB HDD already installed? I'm not particularly versed in the world of the internals of the PC.

Open the  side cover of the case and check what HDDs and SSDs you have already in. You have only one M2 slot available and if it is already in use you have to replace the existing SSD with the new one or you can get 2,5` SATA SSD and use one of the SATA ports on the MB

So just to be clear, can I add an additional SATA SSD alongside the drives that's already installed or do I have to do some replacements?
Because the M.2 slot was slotted with a drive and there were 2 unoccupied SATA ports.

In terms of power, where would the SATA SSD draw its power from?

You have to check if you have 2 additional SSD/HDD power connectors comming out of the PSU. SSDs are about ~9W so if you add 2 I don`t think that~18W will be a problem for the PSU.

So assuming the power supply has capacity for powering more drives, could I in theory:

    1. Install and set up a 2nd SSD with a SATA connection.
    2. Migrate/clone the OS from the NVMe SSD to the SATA SSD, thereby making that drive the "home" of the OS.
    3. Replace the NVMe SSD with a different one of same form factor and connections and set that one up for use.
