I bought my nitro 5 from best buy less than a month ago and it worked great out of the box and worked perfectly until a few days ago when i tried turning it on after shutting it down for a few hours and it wouldn’t boot up or anything, it would just have a blue power indicator on but nothing else was on. I’ve opened the back so the warranty was probably voided and i tried taking the battery out and putting it back in and trying to drain the battery and plug it back in but the model i have doesn’t have the pinhole on the back to reset the battery.

Really looking for help on how to fix
model number is AN515-55

Firstly, your warranty hasn’t voided because you’ve opened the back and taken out the battery, the warranty will void if you take/or do anything more to it. Contact Acer in your area and tell them that you’ve taken the battery out to try and fix it (as you need your laptop to work and you thought it was the battery, tell them the truth) as they will give you instructions on how to fix this problem over the phone or they will ask you to send your Nitro 5 AN515-55 to them, as this laptop is only new and any further disassembly and you trying to fix this will definitely void your warranty. My suggestion to you is, don’t touch, disassemble your laptop, get Acer to fix your problem as there could be a mainboard or some other hardware problem that Acer can analyse and fix or replace.  Good luck.
