Acer Predator Helios 300 (2016?) Fans not running (URGENT)

I'm not completely sure on the year I purchased my Acer Predator, but I know the warranty is gone (2 year warranty, had it repaired a year after I purchased it, been ~2 years since then.)

I'm pretty alright when it comes to working with electronics, so I looked up a guide on cleaning the fans, since they were noisy, looking quite dusty, and the laptop was running hot.

Cleaned, re-applied thermal paste without issue, had some hiccups on startup, but resolved with resetting the battery and making sure the switch under the RAM casing was pressed down.

The fans ran ok once during the bad startups, but haven't run again. I checked the connection ports on the fans, and I think I put them in upside-down (grooved side down) the first time, but have swapped them around since, but they still won't run, even when setting predatorsense to max.

Did I accidentally fry the fanswhen putting the connectors in upside-down, or could it be another issue? The CPU and both integrated and NVIDIA GPUs run without problem (ignoring the fact they have no cooling fans)

Any ideas? I've already tried resetting the battery and re-connecting the fans. This is my multipurpose laptop, so I absolutely need it for work early tomorrow, any help would be appreciated

Update: it is a Predator G3-571, if that helps at all.
