Hey @brummyfan2
I still cannot download the Samsung NVMe driver. I did the following things with no success:
Going into the BIOS, if I change"RST with Octane" to "ACHI", it sticks in a constant loop on the slash screen trying to load, so I revert it.
I have no drives in other than my M.2, and I even reinstalled a clean windows 10 with a USB Bootable drive and the same problem
It has been since late 2018 that I got my Samsung 970 EVO and I still haven't figured out the problem lol.
You think you have another solution that could work?
Thanks!

Hi,
You don't need to change settings in BIOS to install the driver, anyway could you please post the Samsung SSD driver version you are trying , go to Device manager and expand Storage controllers and find out the current driver version(post the snip please).

Here you go, the Samsung SSD Driver is the latest from the website version 3.3
I also posted the Disk Management.

You could try this, download the driver from Samsung site, extract it to Desktop, then go to Device Manager, expand " Storage Controllers", right click click "Microsoft Storages Spaces Controller" Update driver and click "Browse my computer for drivers", and browse to Desktop where you saved the extracted file.

OK, let me try the new driver in my laptop and come back.0

It has already been updated, try installing Samsung Magician Software and see whether you are able to find any details of 970 Evo in it.

Yes I already did that, it sees the Samsung 970 Evo as the name, but not the details like you have!0

Click Update in the left bottom and post the snip of the next window.

Up-to-date

Clicking on Information on the bottom with the red dot notification shows this, which suggests the NVMe driver needs to be installed.

I have run out of ideas, but please wait for someone else to chime in.0
