Acer Nitro 5 AN515-43 Serious lag and freezing problem

I recently bought an Acer nitro 5 AN515-43 and from day one I have been facing serious lag problems even when playing a game like Minecraft. Games usually run at about 200 fps but once every 30-40 seconds it drops to around 15 and after a few seconds goes back to 200. Sometimes, when I play the laptop freezes and I can't get it to work unless I force power off the laptop and turn it back on which fixes the problem temporarily.
Specifications:
- CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3550h
- GPU: NVIDIA GTX-1650
- Memory: 8GB DDR4
- Storage: 256GB SSD+1TB HDD
Additional info:
- The SSD is the boot drive and my games are all on the SSD
Steps tried:
- Setting a battery plan to high performance.
- Updating BIOS to version 1.10 from https://www.acer.com/ac/en/US/content/support-product/8033?b=1&pn=NH.Q6ZSI.002 which is the official acer page for my laptop.
None of these steps have helped fix the lag and the freezing, please help me.

First, have you installed the latest AMD RX560X Adrenalin 2020 Edition 20.8.3 software from here: https://www.amd.com/en/support/graphics/radeon-500-series/radeon-rx-500x-series/radeon-rx-560x as that could be your problem?

Also, when you install the AMD graphics software for the MX560X, uninstall all AMD software off your system and then install the new and above software driver. Also a 256 GB M.2 SSD is pretty low capacity for a boot and games drive and could cause bottlenecking and lag, either put your game(s) on the 1TB spinner slave HDD or increase the boot drive to at least a 512GB M.2 NVMe SSD.

I have the GTX-1650, and not the AMD dGPU you mentioned. Although, I understand what you mean and assure you that all my drivers are up to date. Also, I only play Minecraft and Fortnite so storage is not an issue. As you can see above only 137GB is used as of now. Please suggest another course of action.
