How do I get lower latency?

I have a nitro 7 with i5 9300h gtx 1660ti and 144hz 3ms display, and when I play fortnite, the game runs at 7ms at 144hz instead of the advertised 3ms. I even put ultra for low latency in nvidia control and it’s still 7ms. How do I get the lower latency?

1)Open game settings and change server (Select right game server)
2)close useless feature, service, optimized your window for gaming for that just follow my guide cocompletely →

its not about game server. i get good 10 ping. But the MS is always 7MS on 144hz when the laptop can get as low as 3ms which for some reason it wont go that low
