Then new ER320HQ has no sound

The description says there are "2 x 5W Speakers - Set the tone with full, vibrant audio from the on-board dual speaker sound system". https://store.acer.com/en-us/31-5-er0-monitor-er320hq-widx 
I connected my laptop to the monitor with HDMI, but there's no sound. I see Acer users have same problem with other models and I tried all the tips such as find out if the speaker of the monitor is the default speaker......Tried to call/online chat never got luck to talk to someone. Please help.

Hello,

Could you give the first ten characters of the monitor serial number (S/N)? Be careful, the features tab is a general information for the ER0 series.

Thanks. This monitor (ER320HQ Widx) doesn't have built-in speakers but you can connect external speakers via the audio output.
