A question about the RTX 2060 GPU used in the 2020 Helios 300 lineup - 80W or 115W?

Greetings,

I am in the process of purchasing a 2020 Predator Helios 300, and currently trying to decide on the specific model to go for. I am primarily interested in a 15.6" or 17.3" running the RTX 2060 GPU. However, I have a question regarding the specifics of the RTX 2060 used in the 2020 Helios 300 lineup.

I understand that NVIDIA has two different variants of the RTX 2060:
  • The original RTX 2060 that came out in 2019 [Model: N18E-G1] that runts at a TGP of 80W - I believe this is the one used in all of the 2019 Helios 300 models that are running RTX 2060. Is this correct?
  • A refreshed RTX 2060 that was released earlier this year (2020) [Model: N18E-G1-B] that runs at a TGP of 115W.
My question is: Which RTX 2060 model is used in the 2020 Helios 300 lineup? If different models are running different versions of this GPU, please let me know which Helios 300 model uses which RTX 2060 variant.

Thank you!

This is not a question about what I should use. It's a question about which of these two RTX 2060 variants is used in the 2020 Helios 300. I do not get to make that choice, Acer does =)

@invador0007, thank you for responding! Do you have a source for this info? Anything that shows the exact GPU model or the TGP at which it runs? Have you tried running either of these programs to double check:

I don't own the same machine but my friend does, just forwarded the details I got from him but can assure it's legit.

Just got an answer elsewhere. It is the 80W version, but can be boosted to 90W with Turbo Mode. Thanks, @invad@invador0007!
