Acer Swift 3 SF-315 52G Laptop Charger is faulty. Only charges when adapter kept at certain angle :

I bought a Acer Swift 3 SF-315 52G laptop an year ago and it was working fine except for the charger which always got heated up ( I ignored because the adapter itself had a warning on it, that it may get hot ) until I'd a problem with my BIOS and fixed it under warranty. And now again there's a issue with my charging. The inner cable seems to have broke or something as laptop charges only when the cable is kept at certain position. I guess the inner wire got heated up and melted/broke. I didn't mention this issue earlier because I was told during first warranty that it's fine if the charger gets heated up. Nothing wrong in it. Please help me out, am a College student and most of my education takes place online now because of this lockdown and also I use laptop for my studies too. I know Acer Care has been so good to me during my first warranty call and even now I wish for the same. Hope to get this issue fixed soon and also I wish to know if there's any way I can extend the warranty period of my laptop.

That center electrode is either there and straight, there and bent or not there. If there and straight then you should see good contact when the stock charger is plugged in. If there and bent then usually it gets pushed down into the socket and gets no contact and it won't charge at all. If not there it won't charge at all. There are two things that I can think of that would give you those symptoms. If the charger you are using isn't stock, it might have the more common 1.35mm hole int he barrel instead of the stock 1.1mm hole. That means the barrel wouldn't get pushed as tightly against the electrode without putting some side force on the barrel. The other possibility is if the socket were loose. On some models the DC-In jack is separate from the motherboard and connected via a couple of wire. On your SF315-52G however it's soldered to the MB, so very unlikely to be loose.

I have the same problem just with an Aspire vero,its really annoying to charge,and it only works if its straight right..idk yet if it's straight, and bent or not there,or not there,this has been going on for months,please help the situation is getting out of hands
