Veriton VM6660G has no serial number yet has a SNID

My Veriton VM6660G has no serial number yet has a SNID which appears on its packaging and on the actual PC box. When I open the Acer Control Centre is shows the SNID details in the Serial Number position with the actual Serial Number details blank. Even when I spoke to the Acer Support area with a boot up issue, they could not find the SNID on their records, yet I purchased the unit direct from Acer Online Sales in AUS. At present I'm unable to register the unit because it does not exist in the system. Has anybody experienced this and obtained a resolution to the issue? Cheers

Hi Wayno, i am very sorry to hear this, have you tried on the BIOS or CMD :Get my Serial number"?
When and where did you purchase this unit?
