Colors fade in and out when unplugged

I'm honestly not sure if this is a Predator thing or just a Windows 10 thing, but I just got a Predator Helios 300 after turning in my Predator 15, and it's doing this pretty annoying thing with the screen where the colors are more faded and the contrast is a bit brighter than it normally should be. It actually seems to happen periodically, so everything's normal at once point and then suddenly I notice the grays are brighter than they should be. This also only seems to happen on battery, I haven't done extensive testing but it seems to go away when the laptop is plugged in.

I tried looking it up online and didn't get any results, so does anyone here know what's happening?

CrazyNaut if by colors you mean the display dimming the brightness down and up when on battery and swapped to AC thats completely normal also changing the windows scaling to less than the recommended 125% in order to make the icons smaller  can cause blur in some apps i always use 100% on all devices and depending on the display itself some may cause blur

If you're referrinWell I don't mean the actual brightness of the display, I mean the actual colors being displayed appear brighter and more faded, like the contrast is shifting. If something's dark gray then it might look like a lighter gray, for instance.

CrazyNaut well if this issue started recently i would say its a windows (update) issue if it was always like this its probably the display itself as ips displays most times have much worse quality than the old tn displays but they can support much higher refresh rate at a much lower build price that was the main reason why display manufacturers ended the tn displays and moved to the ips as they are cheaper to manufacturer with higher hz
