Most of the time the trackpad just works fine but randomly the trackpad become unresposive and after I switch the trackpad off and then on again using the F7 key it starts to work again, is anyone having similar issues?

Can you pin it down any more? What happens if you change focus to a different window? How about minimize/maximize? It is feasible to see this type of symptom that's actually an issue with a piece of software... Moving to different software and back or closing the offending software and reopening it can often help.

No, it just occurs at random times while browsing the internet or using any other application as well. After I switch the trackpad off and then on again it starts working like nothing happened. But still, what could be the issue?

I haven't seen this yet elsewhere, when a trackpad acts up it's usually mechanical (buttons don't work or work all the time) or drivers (trackpad just disappears and requires power cycle to return). Have you tried uninstalling the drivers then rebooting to force the OS to reload them?
