Does anyone have any idea on how to increase VRAM in Acer aspire a315-54k? I could not find the advanced bios option either.

Your Aspire A315-54K comes with the Intel Series 100 chipset and can take a max mem of 20GB total and has 1x slot (1 bank of 1 space) for the ram and comes OEM with 4GB removable ram and 4GB non-removable ram soldered internally on the mainboard.

Get CPUz and see your OEM specs of the removable ram that you have? As I would match that of maybe go one up in spec for the ram. Look in CPUz “SPD #1” and “Memory” for the exact specs of your removable ram and upgrade accordingly and to what capacity you want your ram to be upgraded to? For example, if you want the max of 20GB, replace the remove 4GB OEM ram with 1x 16GB of either DDR4-2400MHz, 2666 MHz or 3200MHz SODIMM Dual Ranked • x8 based • Unbuffered • NON-ECC • 1.2V ram, it’s a simple process. See this guide here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N3ntDKOJleQ&feature=youtu.be its for a Aspire A315-41G but it will be the same for your Aspire A315-54K as its very simple.

Also, the Aspire A315-54K M.2 ssd can also be upgraded and/or increased to a max cap of 2TB PCIe M.2 2280SS type SSD.

Sorry, this is typically set by the BIOS to between 10-20% of the total RAM installed unless a BIOS update that specifically addresses it.  Check here. http://www.acer.com/ac/en/US/content/drivers Jack E/NJ
