Hello everyone,

Last month I have purchased an Acer Predator Triton 500 pt515-52 (RTX2070, i7 10th gen gaming laptop). I mainly use it for video editing. Last week I turned on my laptop (when just a few hours before that everything was perfect) and at start-up, my keyboard didn't respond while logging in. After a while I noticed the lights were off aswell. Already contacted Acer a couple of days ago about it, but things like these can take a while before getting a response and I really need it for work.

While waiting for a response I decided to use an external keyboard for the time being, but now my headphone stopped getting bass sounds from the laptop too. (Already tested the headphone with other devices and it's fine). This too, is very important for my work.

I also noticed the these last two weeks I sometimes had little freezes on simple tasks. Not a lot...but sometimes. For example, when I wanted to rename a folder it got stuck for about 10 to 15 seconds.

All these things added up...what should I do? This can't be right. (I am not too eager to send it back to the store because a month before getting this laptop I had ordered an ASUS ROG that arrived with a very stuttery videocard that I had to return after a week. I don't want to uninstall/reinstall all my work software again and again unless there is no way to fix it easily.

Hopefully someone could help me out with this.

Kind regards,
Kevin

KVG you could start by a battery powerdrain disconnect from AC press/hold the battery pinhole for 30s+ leave it to rest a couple of hours to darin all capacitors and see if the issue persists but the best option i see here before returning it to acer its to perform a stock recovery clean install ALT+F10 on boot formating everything to completely rule out any software issues and disabling windows from updating drivers/firmware or completely unfortunately this is the only way to completely rule out software issues and if the issues persist after this it would certainly be hardware good luck :)
