Aspire E15 E5-575G-37D2, can it work without battery?
Hello! I'd like to ask if it's possible to remove this model's battery and still have it work plugged in to its AC adapter? I'm asking this because I believe the battery is nearly broken; it doesn't charge anymore and my laptop instantly shuts down as soon as I remove it from its plug. Until recently, I was making do with this situation but then it started giving me the "critical battery" level messages while it's plugged in, and hibernating because of it. I'm considering just removing the battery altogether to solve the problem.
I'm not looking to replace the battery anytime soon since I'm mostly doing my work at home.
Edit: To clarify, I determined that it's "not charging anymore" because I keep checking the battery status and it was constantly at 66%. After the forced hibernation, the battery has been constantly stuck at 5%. I'm afraid it might trigger the forced hibernation again anytime, and I'm more afraid that it could happen in the middle of important work.
