Hello everyone,

I'm looking for an OEM replacement for my 65W AC adapter (small pin) for the Swift 3 SF315-51G-5543. It's sold in the Acer US Store (https://store.acer.com/en-us/ak-065ap-200), however they don't ship to Canada, and it doesn't seem to be available in the Canadian store. Anybody know where I might be able to get this part from? I rather not purchase a third-party one if possible.

Yes, both Lite-On and Chicony in this case. Acer specs the supplies and then buys from several vendors so they can keep the supply line moving even if one vendor has issues.

Yours uses a 65W 19V adapter with a 1.1x3.0x7.7 barrel, center positive. They should be readily available from venues like Amazon, even in a small backwater country like Canada. :) The 1.1mm center hole is a little bit smaller than the 1.35mm version seen pretty often, so make sure what you get has the smaller hole. If you get the one with the larger hole it won't get good contact and will charge intermittently.

Hi there and thanks for the reply. Unfortunately Amazon and the like only seem to sell the adapter made by third-party manufacturers, whereas I'm trying to see if I can get the original part. I currently own a third-party adapter after losing the original, and it's already starting to fail after 4 months. Not to mention the risk of a fire that a shoddy charger can cause. Most of them on Amazon don't even have a ground plug like the OEM, which doesn't exactly inspire confidence.

OK, there are two different PSUs for your model, because Acer purchased them from two different manufacturers. The Lite-On version is part number KP.06503.015, the Chicony is part number KP.0650H.006. Searching on those numbers should get you a genuine, though you'll still likely be wading through a bunch of replacements...

So does Lite-On actually make the geniune part then that Acer re-brands? I saw a few of their adapters but figured they were another third-party maker.

Thanks again I will look into those.
